Foster parents are required to attend training each year to enhance their skills and knowledge of parenting children and youth in state custody.
Regional PATH and in-service trainings are offered throughout the year. View the training calendars to find offerings in your region.
Parents can also receive credit by viewing e-learning videos online or attending external training workshops and submitting the elective training form to the Office of Training & Professional Development. Additional elective credits may be earned by watching movies or reading books from the approved training media list.
Prospective foster parents currently attending PATH training can access PATH homework videos on this website as well.
