As the Executive Director of Service Region Administrative Support for Child Programs, Ms. Rotella works directly for the Deputy Commissioner of Child Programs to provide consultation, technical assistance and facilitation skills related to the successful partnership between the DCS central office and the regions. Her focus is on increasing communication, identifying opportunities to reduce barriers and strengthen the staff’s professional development opportunities.
Ms. Rotella has been a Regional Administrator for more than seven years for the East Region. Prior to that, she was the MSW Specialist for DCS/Knox Region.
She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has almost 30 years in the mental health and child welfare field. Ms. Rotella graduated from Rutgers University with a major in Psychology and a minor in Biology and received her MSSW from the UT Memphis School of Social Work.
She was a faculty member for the Breakthrough Series Collaborative on Trauma Assessment for Children ages 0 to 5. She is on the Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome Task Force Group with East Tennessee Children’s Hospital and was Regional Administrator of the Year awarded by Tennessee Foster and Adoptive Care Association.
