Timeline

Transportation projects are developed in four phases: Planning and Environmental, Design, Right-of-Way and Construction. Proposed improvements to State Route 115 (US 129/Alcoa Highway), from south of Maloney Road to Woodson Drive, are currently under construction.

Project Update:

April 30, 2023

Pipeline has completed revised utility work. Roadway crews have begun installing the revised storm drainage.  

March 31, 2023

Wall 15 and Wall 14 have been completed at Montlake Drive. Pipeline has begun installation of the water items that were changed in the revision. Crews are roughly 80% complete.  

February 7, 2023

Wall 15 at Montlake Drive is complete. Wall 14 is 87% complete to panels. Falco has drilled 84 out of 87 proposed piles. Grading work continues to follow panel installation. Waterline relocation work is pending approved pricing.  

November 28, 2022

Wall 15 at Montlake Drive is complete. Wall 14 is roughly 15% complete to panels. Falco has drilled 45 out of 87 proposed piles. Pipeline has completed relocation of the gas and is starting to work on the waterline that is in conflict.

September 26, 2022

STC is onsite installing signs. Wall 15 at Montlake Drive is approximately 85% complete. Pipeline has reloacated the gas on the North end of proposed wall 15 and is waiting on an official revision before relocating the water and remaining gas. Crews are installing storm drainage in the area.

August 25, 2022

STC is installing permanent signage. Wall 15 at Montlake Drive is approximately 85% complete. Crews are installing storm  drainage in the area.  

July 28, 2022

Final signage installation is taking place.  The contractor has begun moving utilities for ease of access at Wall 14 and 15 at Quiet Side Lane. Temporary soil nail wall is now complete and Wall 15 panels are 80% complete.

Final signage installation is taking place. The contractor has begun moving utilities for ease of access at Wall 14 and 15 @ Quiet Side Lane.

The contractor continues to excavate ahead of Rembco along with the temp soil nail construction. Rembco is onsite and constructing the temporary soil nail wall at Wall 14 and Wall 15.

 May 31, 2022

The contractor is installing final signage. The contractor has begun moving utilities for ease of access at Wall 14 and 15 @ Quiet Side Lane. The contractor started excavation and construction of Wall 14 at Quiet Side Lane.

April 27, 2022

This project has been completed except for final signage installation. The contractor has begun construction on Quiet Side Lane revision. Work has begun on moving utilities for ease of access. The contractor has begun work on the final punchlist.
