Weight Watchers at Work Discounts

The Weight Watchers at Work program is offered to all to state group insurance program members. Research shows that following a weight-loss program with support from others significantly contributes to weight loss success.

The program includes free access to Weight Watchers e-Tools. E-Tools provide online tips and resources to help keep members on track between meetings.

Information about joining an existing program or how to form your own group

The counties below (highlighted in yellow) 

Anderson, Bedford, Blount, Campbell, Cannon, Cheatham, Claiborne, Clay, Coffee, Cumberland, Davidson, Dekalb, Dickson, Fentress, Grainger, Hickman, Houston, Humphreys, Jackson, Jefferson, Knox, Lewis, Loudon, Macon, Marshall, Maury, Montgomery, Morgan, Overton, Perry, Pickett, Putnam, Roane, Robertson, Rutherford, Scott, Sevier, Smith, Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale, Union, Warren, White, Williamson and Wilson

Meetings last approximately 45 minutes, including a private weigh-in. Weight Watchers at Work meetings are typically held during the lunch period at either 11:00 a.m. or 12:30 p.m.

Weight Watchers at work — How to Get Started 
If you are interested in forming your own Weight Watchers at Work group, you will need to obtain any necessary approvals, secure a meeting space and contact the Weight Watchers at Work Department in your area using the contact information listed below. You will have the option of becoming the contact person for your workplace. That means you will be the person who helps start the group and keeps it going. You will be the liaison between your group and Weight Watchers at Work.

To see if there is enough interest in an onsite meeting, you can:

  • Use a flier to inform your co-workers about the free information meeting
  • Place the I'm Interested sheet in a common area in your organization so people can sign it
  • Send a notice through office email about the informational meeting

Once you have determined that there is enough interest, you can discuss a day and time for a free informational meeting with a member of the At Work Department. At that meeting, potential members can ask questions about Weight Watchers and the at Work program.

The Tennessee counties in purple are managed by Weight Watchers International and do not offer a membership discount to the state group insurance program, but you can still form a meeting if you are interested.
