About Enrollment

2023 Annual Enrollment

Annual Enrollment is your chance to choose your ParTNers for Health plan benefits for the coming year or make changes in your benefit selections that are effective the following Jan. 1.

Annual Enrollment dates for 2023 benefits are:

  • State and Higher Education employees: Oct. 1-Oct. 14, 2022
  • Local Education and Local Government employees: Oct. 1-Oct. 28, 2022
  • Retirees: Oct. 1-Oct. 28, 2022

It’s important to note that for MOST plan options*, if you don’t want to make changes to your benefits, you don’t have to do anything during Annual Enrollment. If you don’t make changes, you will be enrolled in the same plan options you had for the prior year. We do recommend you review your benefits selections each year in Edison, as networks and providers may change during the year. Annual Enrollment is a good time to do that.

*State and Higher Education employees:

  • Flexible spending accounts require you to enroll each year. Medical FSA and limited purpose FSA contribution and carryover amounts will increase slightly in 2023.
  • Life insurance benefits will change, and enrollment processes may change. You may be required to take action for life insurance options and adding dependents to your coverage.

2023 Important Updates (additional updates added as available)

  • Our vision vendor will change to EyeMed for benefits starting Jan. 1, 2023. Members currently enrolled in vision coverage will automatically transfer to the new vendor for 2023.
  • Most employees will receive Annual Enrollment notices by email. Make sure your primary email address is ACCURATE in Edison so you won’t miss important information!

2023 Enrollment Process Reminders

  • You will use Edison to enroll in your benefits using your Edison Access ID, not your employee ID. Contact your agency benefits coordinator or human resources representative with questions.
  • Adding new dependents? We need documents to prove their relationship to you. This includes a spouse who has not been on coverage for 90 days or more.
