Jerry Lukach, Commission Vice-Chair
First Tennessee Representative

Jerry Lukach is a native of Chesterton, Indiana. He has a B.S. in Chemistry from Purdue University and subsequently worked for Dow Chemical in their sales organization. After earning an MBA from the University of Georgia, Jerry worked for Eastman Chemical Company for 33 years in a variety of positions, retiring in 2007 as Vice President, Human Resources. He is married to Nancy Lukach, a former elementary school principal, and has two children, David and Kate.
Jerry has been active in a number of community activities. He has served in a variety of leadership roles for the United Way, including chairperson of the Vision Council Aging with Choices. He served as treasurer for Interfaith Hospitality Network of Kingsport for 5 years. He is a member and past president of the Rotary Club of Kingsport. He was recently appointed to the First Tennessee Area Agency on Aging and Disability (FTAAAD) Advisory Council and is an active member of St. Dominic Catholic Church.
In his free time, Jerry enjoys traveling to new places and travel photography. He is an avid golfer and plays whenever he gets the chance. He is also the CFO for his investment club, which has a long-term track record of beating the Dow Jones Industrial Average. Jerry enjoys landscape gardening, reading, boating, fishing, and single-malt scotch.
