TDCI’s Securities Division Selected to Receive Savings Champion Award by National Savings Program Annual Campaign

NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Department of Commerce & Insurance (TDCI) is proud to announce that its Securities Division has recently been recognized with the 2026 America Saves Week Savings Champion award, an honor explicitly reserved for organizations who effectively and actively promote saving strategies during the annual America Saves Week campaign. 

TDCI is one of 20 organizations honored with this distinction, out of more than 5,300 participating organizations of America Saves Week, which took place April 6 – 10, 2026 as part of Financial Literacy Month. 

“We are honored to celebrate these organizations for their leadership and commitment to helping people build stronger financial futures,” said Amy Miller, Director of America Saves. “The success of America Saves Week is made possible by partners who meet consumers where they are and provide practical opportunities to save, plan, and build financial confidence.” 

This is the second consecutive year that America Saves has honored TDCI’s efforts. In 2025, TDCI was awarded the 2025 America Saves Week Designation of Savings Excellence (DOSE) and the 2025 America Saves Week Savings Champion.

As part of their work regulating the securities industry, TDCI's Securities Division promotes and encourages greater consumer financial literacy to create informed investors who can better evaluate their investment opportunities, encourage Tennesseans to invest for their future, and help them avoid becoming the victims of fraud.
