Need Services?

The Tennessee Council on Developmental Disabilities does not provide direct services to individuals with disabilities or families, but if you are looking for information about state services, we want to help direct you to the appropriate agencies and contacts.

Our Supporting Families Community of Practice initiative encourages us to focus on families affected by disabilities across the lifespan, from birth (or moment of diagnoses) throughout the aging process, which is why we have organized this section for resources by "life stage".

Select a "life stage" from the menu on the left to learn about available state government resources for individuals with disabilities and families, as well as some guiding questions that individuals with disabilities and their families can consider when planning for a successful, meaningful life in the community for a person with an intellectual or developmental disability.
