Title VI of Civil Rights Act
The Tennessee Council on Developmental Disabilities provides equal opportunity and access to its programs and activities by the public, and in its hiring and employment practices. The Council prohibits discrimination in all activities on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin, age or disability. The Council adheres to the state’s affirmative action and workplace harassment programs, and promotes the full realization of equal opportunity in every aspect of personnel policy and practice in the employment, development, advancement and treatment of employees. The Council , our subrecipients and contractors shall make available any Title VI compliance report to be reviewed by the Tennessee Human Rights Commission (THRC) upon request.
