Area Agency Plans (2015-2018)

The Older Americans Act authorized the establishment of an aging network that includes state agencies on aging, as well as area agencies. The Tennessee Commission on Aging and Disability, in its role as the State Unit on Aging, administers the Older American’s Act through policy, planning and advocacy activities. Planning is a significant part of the OAA for the State Unit on Aging and for all of the Area Agencies on Aging and Disability (AAADs).
