In the Antarctic, after an expedition with Dr. Davis McClaren (Bruce Greenwood), the sled dog trainer Jerry Shepherd (Paul Walker) has to leave the polar base with his colleagues due to the proximity of a heavy snow storm. He ties his dogs to be rescued after, but the mission is called off and the dogs are left alone to their own fortune. For six months, Jerry tries to find a sponsor for a rescue mission while his dogs fight for survival. Rated PG.

Carl Denham (Jack Black) needs to finish his movie and has the perfect location; Skull Island. But he still needs to find a leading lady. This 'soon-to-be-unfortunate' soul is Ann Darrow (Naomi Watts). No one knows what they will encounter on this island and why it is so mysterious. Living on this hidden island is a giant gorilla who now has Ann in its grasp. Carl and Ann's new love, Jack Driscoll (Adrien Brody), must travel through the jungle looking for Kong and Ann, whilst avoiding all sorts of creatures and beasts. But Carl has another plan. The beautiful fugitive, Grace (Nicole Kidman), arrives in the isolated township of Dogville on the run from a team of gangsters. Adapted from a work of fiction by author Tracy Chevalier, this is a story about the events surrounding the creation of the painting "Girl With A Pearl Earring" by 17th century Dutch master Johannes Vermeer. Griet, played by Scarlett Johansson, is a maid in the house of painter Johannes Vermeer, played by British actor Colin Firth. Vermeer's wealthy patron and sole means of support, Van Ruijven, commissions him to paint Griet with the intent that he will have her for himself before it is finished. Rated PG-13.

In the unsuspecting lives of the young wizards and witches at Hogwarts the competitors are selected by the goblet of fire, which this year makes a very surprising announcement: Hogwarts will have two representatives in the tournament, including Harry Potter! Will Harry be able to rise to the challenge for the Tri-Wizard Tournament while keeping up with school or will the challenges along with Voldemort's rebirth be too much for the young hero? Rated PG.

Quill is up for the challenge of teaching Watanabe to trust not just him, but other people as well in this heartwarming hit from Japan.

Based on former Marine Anthony Swofford's best-selling 2003 book about his pre-Desert Storm experiences in Saudi Arabia and about his experiences fighting in Kuwait. Jarhead (the self-imposed moniker of the Marines) follows "Swoff" (Jake Gyllenhaal), a third-generation enlistee, from a sobering stint in boot camp to active duty. Jamie Foxx portrays Sergeant Sykes, a Marine lifer who heads up Swofford's scout/sniper platoon, while Peter Sarsgaard is Swoff's friend and mentor, Troy. Rated R.

After returning to Lonesome Dove to bury his partner, Augustus McRae, Captain Woodrow Call (Jon Voight) determines to drive a herd of wild Texas mustangs back up to the Hat Creek Ranch in Montana. In Montana meanwhile, Call’s son Newt (Rick Schroder) is rescued from a lynch mob by a local cattle baron with a pretty young wife. When Call returns, Newt finds himself torn between his father and the man who saved his life.
