"Liberty is what I am struggling for": Reconstruction and the African American Experience in Tennessee
Please join the Tennessee State Library & Archives for a summer institute for teachers on the Reconstruction era in Tennessee. While focusing on Tennessee's social studies curriculum standards, participants will explore the experience of Tennesseans during this period. Participants will analyze primary sources of the era and become familiar with the educational tools offered by TSLA.
