33 for all forms of PLA; 6 for portfolio assessment

How can PLA credit be used?
• Portfolios - Elective credits only.
• All other types of accepted PLA - Credits for majors, minors, and general education requirements.

Yes.

Can PLA credits be transferred between departments and programs within this institution?

Please note that when you change degree programs or majors, that some courses and credits may no longer be relevant and thus will not transfer.

PLA is transferable between departments. Portfolio credit in Interdisciplinary Studies is not transferrable to any other department

Generally, general education courses and electives will transfer but courses in the major may not.

How do CLEP tests appear on a student's transcript?
They are displayed as specific courses from CLEP credit with a grade of "S."

Institutional faculty member or instructor.

TTU awards credit from portfolio assessments as transfer credit from Lifelong Learning (school code Z00220) with the specific course and credit hours with "5" grades only.
