The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will host a design public meeting on June 8, 2017 to gather public input on the Union County SR-61 project . The proposed project, as shown in the general location map, along SR-61 from north of Archer Road (log mile 14.04) to south of Jim Town Road (log mile 18.56) consists of various safety improvements including: realignment and widening of four sections of SR-61 within the project limits and roadside drainage improvements along SR-61, north of the SR-131 (Church Valley Road) intersection. The meeting will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the following location:

The meeting is being held to provide the public an opportunity to provide comments regarding these proposed widening projects.  Representatives of TDOT will be available to provide information on various aspects of this proposed project. Anyone with questions regarding the meeting should contact:
