Licensed Money Transmitters
Please note that while Tennessee Money Transmitter licenses are set to expire April 15 of each year, this date corresponds to the due date of renewal fees and applications. Therefore, a Tennessee Money Transmitter licensee may continue to conduct money transmission in accordance with Tennessee Code Annotated Title 45 Chapter 7 Part 2 beyond the April 15 expiration date for a given year, provided that it meets the following criteria:
- - A renewal fee and application have been submitted to the Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions in accordance with Tennessee Code Annotated §45-7-211 for that same calendar year
- - The Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions has not determined that the licensee does not qualify for renewal of its money transmission license
