Bruce was married to my niece Jenny for 9 years but had been together with her for 16. He was such a good husband and father to their now 5 year old daughter. He died in an auto crash on January 8, 2009 on Boyds Creek Hwy. He was a good provider. He made sure his family always had what they needed. His daughter was a daddy's girl. She just told me that she wanted to go to Heaven to see her daddy. I had to explain that we can only go when it's time for God to send us home but Daddy would be there waiting. Bruce died as result of striking the side of a utility trailer hauling a bobcat loader and a aerator attached to a 1500 series truck that was way over loaded. The driver of the truck, with no drivers license, could not stop the overloaded truck and ran a stop sign in the path of my nephew's truck. He died instantly. It has been a horrible year of transition for my niece and her daughter but with much prayer life will go on.
