In the midst of our loss, we would like to share some of our memories and offer you some insights on Calvin's life. He loved his job, and he took pride in knowing that he was making a difference and making the highways safer for the citizens of Tennessee. The Tennessee Highway Patrol greatly admired and respected him. In addition to his devotion to his work, he was very devoted to his family and friends and loved them very much. He was a very kind, loving and selfless person. He treated everyone with respect, and he always saw the best in everyone. He was our hero. He gave his life to enforce the laws and protect the people of Tennessee. We are so proud of him and the sacrifice that he made for all of us.

General areas of responsibility include law enforcement, safety education, motorist services and terrorism prevention.
