New Driver License Station Opens in Springfield

Nashville, Tennessee --- The Department of Safety invites the public to an Open House on Monday, March 12, celebrating the establishment of a new Driver License station in Springfield. The station is located at 4676 Highway 41 North, Suite C.
The Open House will be held from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The general public is invited and refreshments will be provided.
The new Driver License Station in Springfield, which opened in December, is one of seven new stations across Tennessee providing more efficient and convenient service to the public.
The Tennessee Department of Safety's mission is (www.tn.gov/safety) to ensure the safety and general welfare of the public. The department encompasses the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Office of Homeland Security and Driver License Services. General areas of responsibility include law enforcement, safety education, motorist services and terrorism prevention.
