Nashville, Tennessee --- The Tennessee Department of Safety wishes to inform the public that the Driver License Testing Center located on Hart Lane in Nashville is now back online and serving all customers.
Customers who need duplicate or renewal services are encouraged to complete those transactions online. The Department of Safety's online services home page is at: http://www.tn.gov/safety/onlineservices.shtml.
The Tennessee Department of Safety's mission is (www.tn.gov/safety) to ensure the safety and general welfare of the public. The department encompasses the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Office of Homeland Security and Driver License Services. General areas of responsibility include law enforcement, safety education, motorist services and terrorism prevention.
