Nashville, Tennessee --- Funeral arrangements have been finalized for Trooper Todd M. Larkins, 31. The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home at three times:
1:00pm – 9:00pm Monday
1:00pm – 9:00pm Tuesday
10:00am – 1:00pm Wednesday
The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00pm at the Dickson First Assembly of God, with burial to follow in Union Cemetery. Spann Funeral Home, 1961 Highway 48 North in Dickson, is in charge of the arrangements.
There will be a designated gathering area for the media outside the funeral home during the hours of visitation. There will also be a designated gathering area for the media outside the church on the day of the funeral. A separate media advisory detailing those locations will be issued on Monday. At the family’s request, the visitation and funeral are open to friends and family only.
The family of Trooper Larkins has asked for privacy in their time of grief. We ask you to respect their wishes. The Tennessee Highway Patrol is also grieving the loss of a friend and colleague. In respect to Trooper Larkins and his family, neither THP nor the Tennessee Department of Safety will discuss the investigation until after the funeral.
