Collection summaries are updated monthly and posted at this site in report and spreadsheet form. Other collections data can also be found here. For assistance, please contact the Research Division at (615) 741-2446.
Beginning with revenue collections for July 2012, the monthly Revenue Collections report will use an updated layout. Specifically, the Comparative Statement of Collected Revenues and the Summary of Collections have been revised to list the taxes in a more user-friendly sequence. Generally, related taxes are grouped (e.g., gasoline and motor vehicle fuel), and taxes with greater collections appear higher on the list (e.g., sales and use tax).
Please note that no changes have been made to what is included within each category of tax. For example, the category labeled “Privilege” still includes exactly the same taxes as before. Also, absolutely no changes have been made to any account codes associated with any tax. The only modification is to present the taxes in a more logical order on the page.
