Notice of December 10, 2013 Review of Emergency Rules for Funeral Board

(Removal Services Rules)

Pursuant to Tenn. Code. Ann. § 4-3-1306(d), you are receiving this notice because you have elected to receive notification by e-mail of certain changes or potential changes to the law applicable to your profession. The Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance, Division of Regulatory Boards, Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers, will consider emergency rules regarding removal services on December 10, 2013, in Conference Room 1-B of the Davy Crockett Tower, 500 James Robertson Parkway, Nashville, Tennessee 37243, at 10:00 AM, CST. The proposed rule changes to be considered at the meeting include emergency rules regarding initial registration application fees, registration renewal fees, and minimum insurance coverage for removal services.

In compliance with the Tennessee Open Meetings Act, compiled at Tenn. Code Ann. § 8-44-101 et seq., the above-referenced meeting is open to the public.
