BENTON COUNTY, I-40 Truck Climbing Lane
Wednesday, November 8 through Wednesday, November 15: Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway in a construction zone. *Speed limit is reduced to 60 MPH.

BENTON COUNTY, SR-191: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from I-40 to McCauley’s Bluff Road.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR 423: The grading, drainage, construction of a concrete I-beam bridge on SR 423 over Clear Creek. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway.

DECATUR COUNTY, SR-114: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the end of the Tennessee River Bridge to SR-69.

DECATUR/HARDIN COUNTY, SR-114: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 128 to the Tennessee River Bridge. Motorists should watch for flagmen.

DYER COUNTY, SR-3: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 3/SR 211, overhead, to SR 77 ramp. Speed limit has been reduced to​ 60 MPH.

DYER COUNTY, SR-20: Repair of bridges over North Fork Forked Deer River.
Restrictions: Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 12’ lane restriction. *Speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH.

DYER COUNTY, SR-77: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 3 (US-51) to the Gibson County line. Watch for flagmen.

FAYETTE COUNTY, I-40: The grading, drainage, construction of a concrete bulb-tee bridge and paving on I-40 at the SR 196 (Hickory Withe Road) interchange. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway. Speed limit has been reduced to 60 MPH.

Sunday, November 12 through Saturday, November 18, 8:00 p. m-6:00 a. m: There will be inside lane closures on I-40 east and westbound from MM 28.0 to MM 30.0 for the installation of median drainage, removal of portable barrier rail, inside shoulder widening, and the construction of median crossovers.

FAYETTE COUNTY US 70 (US 79, SR-1): A bridge repair project on SR 1 over branch will result in lane closures in both directions daily.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-100: A bridge repair project on SR 100 approximately 2.7 miles east of the SR 100/US 64 intersection in Whiteville, TN, will result in a lane closures.

Restrictions: Beginning Monday, October 23, 2017 a signal system will be utilized. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11’ lane restriction.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-179:  Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from Williams Cemetery Rd. to Walker Rd. Motorists should watch for flagmen.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-15 (US 64): A widening project on SR 15 from Firetower Road to west of Bigbee Branch. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-22:  Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from near Phillips Cemetery Rd. to near Worley Cemetery Rd. Motorists should watch for flagmen.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-114: A bridge repair project on the Clifton Bridge over the Tennessee River will result in lane shifts and narrowed lanes throughout the project.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128: A widening project on SR 128 from South of Opel Loop to US-64 (SR 15) in Savannah will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128: A widening project on SR 128 from south of One Stop Drive to south of Opel Loop. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-142:  Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from McNairy-Hardin County line to SR22. Motorists should watch for flagmen.

HAYWOOD COUNTY, SR-19 (Brownsville Bypass): A widening project on SR 19 from west of Windrow Road to SR 76 south of Brownsville will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HAYWOOD COUNTY, SR-76: Construction of a concrete bulb tee beam bridge over the Hatchie River–Wednesday, May 3, 2017 SR 76 will CLOSE at log mile 8.98 (approx. 1 mile south of the I-40/Exit 56 interchange) for removal of the truss bridge. *Local traffic will have access up to the bridge. An interstate detour will be posted at Exit 56 and Exit 52 (Stanton/KoKo Road).

HENDERSON COUNTY, SR-114: Resurfacing work, including bridge repair work, will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 201 to US 412 (SR 20).

HENDERSON COUNTY–SR 114: Bridge repair and paving will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 201 to US 412 (SR 20).

HENRY COUNTY, SR-54: The grading, drainage, construction of bridges, retaining wall and paving on SR 54 from near Rison Street to near Smith Road. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-78: Construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee bridge on SR 78 over drainage ditch including grading, drainage, and paving will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.
Restrictions: Beginning Tuesday, August 1 through November 30, 2018, a traffic signal system is being utilized. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with a 9’ lane restriction.

Lauderdale County, SR-19 Beginning Monday, October 9: A bridge repair project on SR 19 over Hyde Creek will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-1:  Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from US 412 to Bedford White Rd. Motorists should watch for flagmen.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-20 (US 412): Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Crockett County Line to near I-40 ramps.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-186 (US 45 Bypass) and I-40: Interchange improvements on SR-186 (US 45) north and southbound from the I-40 ramps (LM 2.83) to Old Hickory Blvd (LM 3.33) for paving and construction of retaining walls. Widening of I-40 from just east of Exit 79 to just east of Exit 82.

Thursday, November 9, 8:00 p. m.-12:00 a. m.: There will be a lane closure to the right lane of I-40 eastbound at MM 80.0 to MM 81.0 for placement of concrete barrier rail.

Saturday, November 11, 6:00 a. m.–6:00 p. m: I-40 eastbound on ramp from US45 By-Pass will be closed temporarily for crews to place barrier and replace a drainage pipe under the exit ramp. A detour will be posted. One lane of I-40 eastbound will also be closed for a short period of time. *November 12, 6:00 a. m.–6:00 p. m. will serve as a backup date. Weather Permitting.

McNAIRY COUNTY, SR-199:  Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from near Vires Rd. to Elvin Week Rd. Motorists should watch for flagmen.

OBION COUNTY, Future I-69: Grading, drainage, construction of eight bridges on future I-69 from south of US 51 (SR 3) to south of US 45W (SR 5) will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. *Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH through the US 51 (SR 3) portion of the project. The inside southbound lane on SR 3 is closed to all traffic for installation of barrier rail.

Restrictions: Beginning Tuesday, June 13, SR 3 will have a lane shift in the north and southbound directions. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 11’ 6” lane restriction.

OBION COUNTY, SR-21: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 21 to SR 183. Watch for flagmen.

OBION COUNTY, SR-21: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 5 (US 45W) to SR 3 (US 51).

OBION COUNTY, SR-184: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 431 to SR 214.

OBION COUNTY, SR-214: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 21 to SR 184.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 at Canada Road Wednesday, November 8 through Wednesday, November 15: I-40 speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 at Exit 1 to Exit 1A
Saturday, November 11, 5:00 a. m. through Monday, November 13, 5:00 a. m: CLOSE the “On” ramp from Front Street to I-40 westbound to allow for joint replacement. *Friday, November 17, 7:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m. will serve as a backup date. Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY-Light installation on the Hernando De Soto Bridge
Wednesday, November 15, 12:00 p. m.-12:00 a. m.: INTERMITTENT lane closures on I-40 eastbound Hernando De Soto Bridge beginning at MM 00.00 through MM 00.80 to allow for light installation. Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1: Construction of a welded steel plate girder bridge on SR 1 over the Loosahatchie River will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1 from near Wolf River to Stage Road:
Sunday, November 12 through Friday, November 17,, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m.: There will be INTERMITTENT closures with one lane to remain open on SR 1 east and westbound (MM 12.22 to MM 16.78) to allow for resurfacing. Weather Permitting.

Thursday, November 9 and Friday, November 10, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: There will be INTERMITTENT lane closures on SR 1 (HWY 70) starting at MM 20.05 (Germantown Rd.) to MM 21.40 (Brunswick Rd.) to allow for paving. Weather Permitting.

Monday, November 13 through Friday, November 17, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: There will be INTERMITTENT lane closures on SR 1 (HWY 70) starting at MM 20.05 (Germantown Rd.) to MM 21.40 (Brunswick Rd.) to allow for paving. Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (Austin Peay Hwy): Construction on SR 14 for a widening project from SR 204 (Singleton Parkway) to east of Old Covington Pike. Shoulders are closed north and southbound. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project.

On April 21, 2017, Old Covington Pike East access to/from SR 14 was permanently CLOSED.

*Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-175–Resurfacing on SR 175 from near Elvis Presley Blvd (LM 4.67) to Swinnea (LM 8.24)
Sunday, November 12 through Thursday, November 16, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m.: There will be INTERMITTENT closures with one lane to remain open on SR 175 east and westbound (LM 4.67 to LM 8.24) to allow for resurfacing. Weather Permitting.

TDOT District 47 & 48 On-Call Guardrail/Concrete Barrier
Wednesday, November 8 and Thursday, November 9, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following various locations to repair damaged guardrail. THP will assist with traffic control.

  • I-40 Madison, Henderson, and Carroll Counties (MM 67.00 to MM 126.12) east and westbound.
  • Other guardrail sites damaged but not listed may be repaired during this time in this closure area.

TDOT District 49 On-Call Guardrail/Concrete Barrier
Wednesday, November 8 through Tuesday, November 14, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following various locations to repair damaged guardrail. If weather prohibits, the repairs will be performed on the next available night. THP will assist with traffic control during night time closures. Weather Permitting. 

  • I-40 westbound, MM 1C.6 – 1C.2, various locations; One lane will be CLOSED.
  • I-55 northbound, MM 5.7 - 11.6, various locations; One lane will be CLOSED.
  • I-55 southbound, EXIT 6B to I-240 northbound; The ramp will be CLOSED.
  • I-240 westbound, EXIT 25A to I-55 southbound; The ramp will be CLOSED.
  • I-240 east and westbound, MM 25.8 – MM 12.0, various locations; One lane will be CLOSED. EXIT 24 (Millbranch) will be narrowed.
  • SR-3 north and southbound, MM 16.4 – 16.5, various locations; One lane will be CLOSED.
  • SR-385 westbound, MM 0.25; One lane will be CLOSED.

TDOT MAINTENANCE: Wednesday, November 8 through Wednesday, November 15, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to repair pavement on an as needed basis.

Thursday, November 9, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.:  There will be lane closures on I-40 in Madison County from MM 67.0 to MM 95.0 both east and westbound on I-40, for pothole patching.

TDOT REGION 4: On-Call Pavement Markings: Wednesday, November 8 through Wednesday, November 15: There are no scheduled closures.

TIPTON COUNTY, SR-179: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures, in both directions daily, from SR 54 to SR 14.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-43 (US 45E): Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures, in both directions daily, from the Gibson County line to Old US 45E.
