BENTON COUNTY, I-40 Truck Climbing Lane
Wednesday, October 4 through Wednesday, October 11: Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway in a construction zone. *Speed limit is reduced to 60 MPH.

Saturday, October 7, 5:00 a. m.-7:00 p. m.: There will be a temporary lane closure on I-40 westbound from MM 134.0 (TN Rv Bridge) to MM 131.0, for placement of shoulder stone. One lane will remain open.

BENTON COUNTY, SR-1 (US-70): Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Huntingdon City limits to the Benton County line.

BENTON COUNTY, SR-191: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from I-40 to McCauley’s Bluff Road.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-1 (US-70): Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Carroll County line to SR 391.

CROCKETT COUNTY, SR-20 (US-412): Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Madison County Line to west of the SR 76 overpass.

DECATUR COUNTY, SR-114: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the end of the Tennessee River bridge (LM 0.12) to SR-69 (LM 2.15).

DECATUR/HARDIN COUNTY, SR-114: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR-128 (LM 0.81) to the Tennessee River bridge (LM 3.65). Motorists should watch for flagmen.

DYER COUNTY, SR-3: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 3/SR 211, overhead, to SR 77 ramp. Speed limit has been reduced to​ 60 MPH.

DYER COUNTY, SR-20: Repair of bridges over North Fork Forked Deer River.
Restrictions: Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 12’ lane restriction.

DYER COUNTY, SR-77: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 3 (US-51) to the Gibson County line. Watch for flagmen.

FAYETTE COUNTY, I-40: The grading, drainage, construction of a concrete bulb-tee bridge and paving on I-40 at the SR 196 (Hickory Withe Road) interchange. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway.​
Monday, October 9 through Wednesday, October 11, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be inside lane closures on I-40 east and westbound from MM 28.0 to MM 30.0 for the installation of median drainage, the removal of portable barrier rail, inside shoulder widening, and the construction of median crossovers.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-222: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 59 to Hebron Drive. Motorist should watch for flagmen.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-57: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Fayette County line to Saulsbury Road. Motorist should watch for flagmen.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-15 (US-64): A widening project on SR 15 from Firetower Road to west of Bigbee Branch. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-114: A bridge repair project on the Clifton bridge over the Tennessee River will result in lane shifts and narrowed lanes throughout the project.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-114: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 128 (LM 0.81) to the Tennessee River bridge (LM 3.65). Motorists should watch for flagmen.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128: A widening project on SR 128 from South of Opel Loop to US-64 (SR 15) in Savannah will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128: A widening project on SR 128 from south of One Stop Drive (LM 8.86) to south of Opel Loop (LM 10.42). Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HAYWOOD COUNTY-SR-19 (Brownsville Bypass): A widening project on SR 19 from west of Windrow Road to SR 76 south of Brownsville will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HAYWOOD COUNTY–SR-76: Construction of a concrete bulb tee beam bridge over the Hatchie River–Wednesday, May 3, 2017 SR 76 will CLOSE at log mile 8.98 (approx. 1 mile south of the I-40/Exit 56 interchange) for removal of the truss bridge. *Local traffic will have access up to the bridge. An interstate detour will be posted at Exit 56 and Exit 52 (Stanton/KoKo Road).

HENDERSON COUNTY–SR-114: Resurfacing work, including bridge repair work, will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 201 (LM 6.52) to US 412 (SR 20) (LM 10.55).

LAKE COUNTY, SR-78: Construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee bridge on SR 78 over drainage ditch including grading, drainage, and paving will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.​
Restrictions: Beginning Tuesday, August 1 through November 30, 2018, a traffic signal system is being utilized. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with a 9’ lane restriction.

Lauderdale County, SR-19
Beginning Monday, October 9: A bridge repair project on SR 19 over Hyde Creek will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily.

Lauderdale County – Crossdrain Repair
LOOK AHEAD:
Monday, October 16 and Tuesday, October 17, 8:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m.:
SR 371 will have both lanes in both directions CLOSED at MM 2.5 (near Pipkin Rd.) to allow for crossdrain repair. *Wednesday, October 18 through Friday, October 20, 8:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m. will serve as backup dates. Weather Permitting.

Monday, October 16 and Tuesday, October 17, 8:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m: SR 180 will have both lanes in both directions CLOSED at MM 2.0 (near Dr. Parks Rd.) to allow for crossdrain repair. *Wednesday, October 18 through Friday, October 20, 8:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m. will serve as backup dates. Weather Permitting.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-20 (US 412): Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Crockett County Line to near I-40 ramps.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-138: Construction of 2 concrete box bridges on SR 138 over Muddy Creek will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.​
Restrictions: Beginning Tuesday, May 30 through Tuesday, October 31 a signal system will be utilized. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11’ lane restriction. Sanderson Road will be closed to through traffic.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-186 (US45 Bypass) and I-40: Interchange improvements on SR-186 (US 45) north and southbound from the I-40 ramps (LM 2.83) to Old Hickory Blvd (LM 3.33) for paving and construction of retaining walls.  Widening of I-40 from just east of Exit 79 to just east of Exit 82.
All work is WEATHER DEPENDENT.
Friday, October 6, 8:00 p.m. through Monday, October 9, 6:00 a.m.:

  • There will be a temporary lane closure on I-40 eastbound from MM 79 to 80 in the outside lane for the installation of temporary barrier rail. One interstate lane will remain open. The barrier rail will close off existing Exit 80-B. Motorists will be detoured to Exit 80-A for US45 By-Pass north and south.
  • The US45-By-Pass exit ramp to I-40 east will also be closed. Motorist will be detoured onto the interstate.
  • There will be temporary lane closures on SR-186 (US45 Bypass) from just north of Carriage House Drive to just south of the Vann Drive ramps north and southbound inside lanes. At least one lane will remain open at all times.

LOOK AHEAD:
Friday, October 13, 8:00 p. m. through Monday, October 16, 6:00 a. m.: There will be a temporary lane closure on I-40 westbound from MM 81 to 80 in the outside lane for the installation of temporary barrier rail. One interstate lane will remain open. The barrier rail will close off existing Exit 80-A. Motorists will be detoured to Exit 80-B for US45 By-Pass north and south.

  • There will be temporary lane closures on SR-186 (45 Bypass) from just north of Carriage House Drive to just south of the Vann Drive ramps north and southbound inside lanes. At least one lane will remain open at all times.

MCNAIRY COUNTY, SR-5: Resurfacing work will cause possible lane closures, in both directions daily, from SR 15 to near New Salem Road.

OBION COUNTY, Future I-69: Grading, drainage, construction of eight bridges on future I-69 from south of US 51 (SR 3) to south of US 45W (SR 5) will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. *Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH through the US 51 (SR 3) portion of the project. The inside southbound lane on SR 3 is closed to all traffic for installation of barrier rail.

Restrictions: Beginning Tuesday, June 13, SR 3 will have a lane shift in the north and southbound directions. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 11’ 6” lane restriction.

OBION COUNTY, SR-21: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 21 to SR 183. Watch for flagmen.

OBION COUNTY, SR-21: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 5 (US 45W) to SR 3 (US 51).

OBION COUNTY, SR-184: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 431 to SR 214.

OBION COUNTY, SR-214: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 21 to SR 184.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 at Canada Road
Wednesday, October 4 through Wednesday, October 11: I-40 speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH. Beginning December 5, 2014, there are transitions south and northbound on Canada Road.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Washout Repair
Saturday, October 7, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: The outside lane will be CLOSED on I-55 northbound at MM 5.8 (close to Elvis Presley Exit) to allow for washout repair. *Sunday, October 8, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m. will serve as a backup date. Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Slide Repair
Thursday, October 5, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: The outside lane will be CLOSED on I-40 eastbound at MM 6.0 (Warford Exit) to allow for slide repair.  *Saturday, October 7, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m: will serve as a backup date. Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 at Exit 1 to Exit 1A
Friday, October 6, 8:00 p. m. through Monday, October 9, 5:00 p. m.: On I-40 westbound the two (2) inside lanes will be CLOSED at LM 1.6 (Exit 1) to LM 0.6 (Exit 1A) to allow for bridge deck repairs over Second and Third Street. One lane will remain open.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1: Construction of a welded steel plate girder bridge on SR 1 over the Loosahatchie River will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1 from near Wolf River to Stage Road:
Sunday, October 8 through Friday, October 13, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m: There will be INTERMITTENT closures with one lane to remain open on SR 1 east and westbound (MM 12.22 to MM 16.78) to allow for resurfacing. Weather Permitting.

LOOK AHEAD:
Sunday, October 15 through Friday, October 20, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m.:
There will be INTERMITTENT closures with one lane to remain open on SR 1 east and westbound (MM 12.22 to MM 16.78) to allow for resurfacing. Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (Austin Peay Hwy): Construction on SR 14 for a widening project from SR 204 (Singleton Parkway) to east of Old Covington Pike. Shoulders are closed north and southbound. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project.
On April 21, 2017, Old Covington Pike East access to/from SR 14 was permanently CLOSED.
*Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-175–Resurfacing on SR 175 from near Elvis Presley Blvd (LM 4.67) to Swinnea (LM 8.24)
Sunday, October 8 through Thursday, October 12, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m: There will be INTERMITTENT closures with one lane to remain open on SR 175 east and westbound (LM 4.67 to LM 8.24) to allow for resurfacing. Weather Permitting.

TDOT REGION 4: On-Call Pavement Markings:
Wednesday, October 4 through Wednesday, October 11: There are no scheduled closures.

TDOT District 47 & 48 On-Call Guardrail/Concrete Barrier
Wednesday, October 4 and Thursday, October 5, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following various locations to repair damaged guardrail. THP will assist with traffic control.

  • I-40, Henderson, Madison, Carroll, Decatur, Counties, east & westbound (MM 76.00 to MM 127.0), one lane will remain open.
  • SR-20, Crockett County, at MM 5.60 westbound, one lane will remain open.

TDOT District 49 On-Call Guardrail/Concrete Barrier
Wednesday, October 4 through Tuesday, October 10, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:  There will be night time lane closures at the following various locations to repair damaged guardrail. Also, there will be day time lane closures on Wednesday, October 4, 9am–3pm. If weather prohibits, the repairs will be performed on the next available night for night work and on the next available day for day work. THP will assist with traffic control during night time closures. Weather Permitting. 

Wednesday, October 4 through Tuesday, October 10, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:

  • I-40 westbound, MM 33.4; One lane will be CLOSED.
  • I-240 eastbound, MM 21.0 – 20.0, including EXIT 20B (SR 176 NB/ Getwell); One eastbound lane will be CLOSED. Also, the ramp at EXIT 20B will be narrowed.
  • SR-176 northbound, MM 5.9 – MM 5.2; One lane will be CLOSED.
  • SR-194 northbound, MM 20.0 – MM 22.0; One lane will be CLOSED at various locations.
  • SR-59 northbound/southbound ‘on’ ramp to I-40 westbound. Ramp will be narrowed.
  • SR-14, MM 20.0 – MM 20.4; One lane will be CLOSED.
  • SR-3 northbound, MM 16.2 – MM 21.0; One lane will be CLOSED at various locations.

TDOT MAINTENANCE:
Wednesday, October 4 through Wednesday, October 11, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to repair pavement on an as needed basis.

TIPTON COUNTY, SR-3 Slope Mowing
Saturday, October 7 and Sunday, October 8, 8:00 a. m.-2:00 p. m.: SR 3 (HWY 51 South) northbound inside lanes will be CLOSED starting at MM 3.0 (near Maple Hill) to MM 5.0 (Atoka-Idaville Rd.) to allow for slope mowing. Weather Permitting.

TIPTON COUNTY, SR-179: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures, in both directions daily, from SR 54 to SR 14.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-43 (US 45E): Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures, in both directions daily, from the Gibson County line to Old US 45E.
