Civil Rights Compliance Training

Compliance With Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 for TDMH Central Office and Contract Service Provider Agency Employees

In order to be in compliance with Title VI, every employee of the Tennessee Department of Mental Health's (TDMH) Central Office and of Contract Service Provider Agencies must review the law and take a compliance test annually. New employees of TDMH should complete the test within their first three months of employment. Click on the link below to begin the test. A set of questions will be presented and once these are answered satisfactorily, a certificate will be generated on the screen for each employee to save and print.

An email, notifying the TDMH compliance officer that the test has been completed will also include the date of completion, the employee's name, and the agency or facility they serve. For more information contact Gwen.Hamer@tn.gov, TDMH Title VI Compliance Officer or call (615) 532-6510.
