| Description | This is an intensive performance-oriented course. Officers must fire 90% with both pistol and shotgun to successfully complete the program. | ||||||||

| Prerequisites | It is mandatory that officers have their Instructor Development training before enrolling in this school. A copy of the Instructor Development certificate will need to accompany the “Application for Specialized Training” form when registering with T.L.E.T.A. | ||||||||
| Materials | Officers must bring their own ammunition for this course. It will consist of the following: 1000 rounds of handgun ammunition, 75 rounds for 12-gauge shotgun birdshot (#7, #8, or #9). Officers should bring a carbine (preferably an M-4 or similar weapon and 400 rounds of ammunition for that weapon. Also, officers are to bring a flashlight, safety glasses and bullet resistant vest. Although not mandatory, it is preferred that the officer bring a laptop to this class. | ||||||||
