Paris Career Center joins in Fish Fry fun
In Paris, Tennessee, the World’s Biggest Fish Fry is held annually during the last week of April, and staff of the local Tennessee Career Center get into the community spirit by sponsoring a fish in the annual Catfish Races that are held at the event every year on the lawn of the Henry County Courthouse.

- Workers’ Compensation
The Employee Misclassification Education and Enforcement Fund (a program within the new construction law) ensures employers are not illegally deducting workers’ compensation premiums from the paychecks of their employees.
- Adult Education
A graduate of the Hickman County AE program was a recent contestant on CMT’s “The Singing Bee,” airing June 3, 2011, at 7pm CST.
- Workforce Development
On May 20, 2011, U.S. Department of Labor announced a $3,589,704 National Emergency Grant Award to help Tennessee residents in their recovery from severe storms in late April and early May.
