The Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development had another effective year, despite working under the governor’s Voluntary Buyout Program and record high unemployment levels. TDLWD opens heart for sick and needy
Once again TDLWD exhibited a strong giving spirit. French Landing staff enthusiastically supported the project for St. Jude’s Research Hospital in Memphis and Second Harvest Food Bank in Nashville. Adult Education is contributing to an effort to help children in Appalachia. Read more}}

Continuing an event begun last year, which was the first holiday season in the new French Landing Building in Nashville, interested employees formed the department’s Christmas Choir and sang carols for the official lighting of the lobby Christmas tree on December 8. Read more}} |
