Roosevelt Noble, center, is shown with two participants at the Felony Friendly Job Fair held in Nashville on April 23. Around 3,000 attended the event, which offered information to better assist individuals with a prior felony to become gainfully employed. Noble is Director of Eligible Training Providers and is the Re-Entry Program Coordinator in the Division of Workforce Development.

    The Workers’ Compensation Division is gearing up for the 14th Annual Tennessee Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference at the Nashville Airport Marriott Hotel on June 14th and 15th.

    Congratulations to Carol Oliver for receiving the Director’s Award for exemplary service to the elevator industry. 
  • Workforce Development
    After several months of debate in Congress, the Workforce Investment Act was approved for funding at a reduction of approximately 10% in budget.
