Older Worker/Veteran Career Fair draws amazing crowd

CoverTN news announced at Dyersburg Career Center

On September 12 Commissioner Neeley introduced Governor Bredesen at a press conference at the Tennessee Career Center in Dyersburg to announce an expansion to CoverTN and the creation of a new enrollment category. We were pleased the governor chose the Dyersburg Career Center for the announcement, and Ronnie Gunnels, Career Center manager, said staff at the Career Center enjoyed preparing for the event. The Adult Education staff and all the partners at the Career Center at Talbott together helped an 85-year-old participant, Nancy Hightower, receive her GED. The Career Center staff hosted a reception for the new graduate and her fellow classmates.
