STATE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD TO MEET
MEETING HELD IN FRANKLIN, MARCH 3
NASHVILLE – Tennessee’s State Workforce Development Board will meet on Friday, March 3, 2006, at the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs, located at 700 Cool Springs Boulevard, in Franklin, Tennessee. The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 12:00 p.m.
The State Workforce Development Board oversees the state’s Workforce Investment Act program delivered through the Tennessee Career Center System. Services provided include a wide range of job training and employment services for adults, youth, and dislocated workers. Topics of discussion will include activities for incumbent worker grant progress, introduction of partner roundtable, community based initiatives, local area prospective, partnerships with Employment Security, Trade Adjustment Act, Title V, and Adult Education.

This may be done in person, by writing, telephone, or other means and should be made no fewer than five days prior to the scheduled meeting date to allow time to provide such aid or service.
