STATE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD TO MEET
MAY 13, IN NASHVILLE

NASHVILLE – Tennessee’s State Workforce Development Board will meet on Friday, May 13, 2005, at the Millennium Maxwell House, located at 2025 Metrocenter Boulevard in Nashville, Tennessee. The meeting will be held from 8:00 a.m. to noon.

The Workforce Development Board oversees the state’s Workforce Investment Act program delivered through the Tennessee Career Center System. Services provided include a wide range of job training and employment services for adults, youth, and dislocated workers. Topics of discussion will include reports from the State Strategic Plan & LWIA Annual Plan Modifications.

Individuals with disabilities who wish to participate in the meeting should contact the Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development to discuss auxiliary aids or other services needed to facilitate such participation. This may be done in person, by writing, telephone, or other means and should be made no fewer than five days prior to the scheduled meeting date to allow time to provide such aid or service.
