NEW CAREER CENTER FOR UNION CITY DEDICATED
SPECIAL GUESTS INVITED TO RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY

Nashville―Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development Commissioner James Neeley and special guests attended a ribbon cutting ceremony held Friday, October 6, at the new Tennessee Career Center at Union City at 126 East Main, Suite C. The new center relocated from their previous location at 1418 Stad Avenue in late August. The new location features a state-of-the-art resource area with computers and a resource library. There is also a classroom available for training activities and for employers to utilize. The center offers employers free access to the center for interviewing and screening potential job applicants.

Denise Reynolds is the manager. Don Dugger is the Workforce Investment Act Case Manager. Interviewers are Linda Sullivan, Rose Andreozzi, Natalie Cantrell and Larry Fife. Susie Hendricks serves as a claims adjudicator. Dyersburg State Community College is the local partner and local administrative entity of the Career Center.

Commissioner James Neeley spoke at the ceremony Friday. “I am proud of our local staff and partners that serve this community. They consistently show their teamwork and dedication to the dislocated workers, job seekers and employers in this area.”
