TENNESSEE OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ANNOUNCES TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES IN 2005
NASHVILLE - The Tennessee Occupational Safety and Health Division has published its training seminar schedule for the spring of 2005. The seminars are open to all safety professionals across the state. New and familiar programs are being offered. Falling into the new category include seminars titled
- Personal Protective Equipment
- Workplace Hazard Assessment
- TOSHA 101
The spring also sees the return of several previously offered seminars titled
- Blood-borne Pathogen-Health Care Update
- Occupational Noise
- Maintenance-Related Standards
- Basic Safety
- Safety Programs
- OSHA 10- and 30-hour Courses
Georgia Tech will be conducting the following classes twice in Tennessee during 2005. The courses will be held in April in Knoxville and in June in Nashville. These courses approve trainers to teach the OSHA 10- and 30-hour courses and to issue course completion cards from OSHA.
- Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for Construction (OSHA 500)
- Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry (OSHA 501)
