THOUSANDS EXPECTED TO ATTEND PROJECT PAYCHECK JOB FAIR
BROAD SPECTRUM OF JOB OPPORTUNITIES REPRESENTED BY AREA EMPLOYERS
NASHVILLE – Nashville area businesses will be looking for qualified applicants at the 12th Annual Project Paycheck. Middle Tennessee’s largest job exposition will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2007, at the Nashville Convention Center from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
More than 100 employers will be on-site accepting applications, providing information, and conducting interviews for full-time, part-time, temporary and permanent employment positions. Project Paycheck will feature employers representing a broad spectrum of career fields including government, finance/marketing, food services, human services, communications, technology, sales/marketing, education, retail/merchandising, operations and healthcare.
“This event has gained momentum and every year the prospects for employers and job seekers are greater than ever,” said Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development Commissioner James Neeley. “We want everyone in the Nashville area who is looking for employment to come and market their skills to local employers.”
The free event offers candidates the opportunity to interview with top companies, as well as attend free career-management seminars and receive free résumé critiques. Top employers in a range of industries will attend including Dell, Comcast and Vanderbilt University.
