DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE PROGRAM TO BE TOPIC
NASHVILLE - Jim Farmer, coordinator of the
Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development's Drug-Free Workplace
Program, will be guest speaker at the Clay-Overton County Workforce Employer
Outreach Committee (WEOC) meeting to be held Friday, April 1.
The forum is open
to employers wishing to become involved. Some of the benefits of attending are
the following: to have an opportunity to share ideas and concerns with the
Department of Labor and Workforce Development; to enhance your company's
awareness of employment issues and legislation that affects your business
operation; to gain a better understanding of the many programs and services the
department provides; and an opportunity to network with various divisions
within the department and build a personal working relationship with an
employer services specialist from the department.
