FRITO-LAY TO RECEIVE WORKPLACE SAFETY AWARD

NASHVILLE — Frito-Lay will receive recertification for the Volunteer STAR Award for Workplace Safety and Health on Thursday, June 15, 2006, at 12:00 noon (CDT). The ceremony will take place at the facility located at 298 Industrial Blvd., Pulaski. Frito-Lay employs 540 employees in the manufacture of snack products. The Volunteer STAR Award is given to Tennessee facilities that operate a comprehensive and effective safety and health management program as validated by the Tennessee Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
