Nashville – The Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development (TDLWD) announces Denise Reynolds will serve as manager of the Dresden office of the department, replacing John Montgomery who retired. The Dresden office is located at 8714 Highway 22, Suite B.
Denise has been employed with the department since 1974 and has worked in Weakley, Obion, and Lake counties. She has extensive knowledge of all programs of the department, including unemployment insurance and job service, and has been manager of the Union City office since 1991; she will continue managerial responsibilities for that office.
“We’re fortunate to have qualified staff in both the Union City and Dresden offices,” said Denise. “I look forward to meeting employers of Weakley County and becoming involved in county chamber and community activities. We have the resources to provide new and existing businesses with qualified employees and look forward to serving Weakly County’s employment needs.”
Denise is a native of Nashville, but has lived in Martin since 1968. She is a 1972 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin and is married with two children.
The Dresden office of the Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development offers job assistance to both job seekers and employers. They offer free use of phones, fax and copy machines and computers with Internet access and library information for job seekers. The staff in the office can help employers find qualified employees through pre-screening and assessment and provides access to labor market information. The office also provides services to veterans and those looking for a GED.
