The Office of Homeland Security works closely with each of the 11 Homeland Security Districts to effectively manage the federal grant funds awarded to Tennessee. Since 2003, Tennessee has passed through $131,035,218 in federal funds to Homeland Security Districts to advance the state's preparedness, protect its citizens and infrastructure and respond to acts of terror or natural disasters.
