The Surplus Property Program redistributes State, Federal and Department of Defense personal property declared as surplus to authorized governmental, non-profit, educational, and law enforcement agencies; or, if not needed by these organizations, is sold to the general public via internet auction. Redistribution avoids premature disposal and enables acquisition of items by agencies at a cost they can afford.
