If you are interested in the project described below:
1. Review the Designer Selection Process.
2. Register with the Office of the State Architect. All Designer's must be registered and updated annually
    in December.  Click on Register and choose the option "Update My Registration" and follow the
    directions to review and update.
3. Download the instructions included in the Designer Letter of Interest.
4. Complete the document specifically for the project in which you have interest.
5. The response should be no more than four pages (do not include photographs).
6. Attach the completed Designer Letter of Interest Form to the appropriate email link.

Project Overview: 

Provide design services to review all the required existing high mast systems and provide design solutions for the refurbishment of mechanisms and replacement of fixtures.  The high mast lighting system upgrades will require the structural review of the mast structure, grounding, lifting/lowering mechanism, retrofitting the existing supporting structure to accommodate new fixtures with LED lamps, and finalize illumination intensity and coverage.

Special Design or Submission Requirements:  

Familiarity with High Mast Lighting Systems for prisons and TDOC policies for work inside the secure perimeter.  Design firms should be located within the middle Tennessee region to facilitate meetings at TDOC offices.
