This course provides a general knowledge of the skills necessary while responding to a structural
collapse incident. The course covers selected sections of NFPA 1006 200 ed. and 1670 1999 Ed.
Topics include recognition of potential collapse, hazards, and site control and procedures.
Additional topics include victim rescue and the four levels of Urban Search and Rescue (USAR):
Basic, Light, Medium and Heavy. |
