| Description | This course is designed to introduce the student to the concepts of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) – specific Incident Command System (ICS) through lecture and guided discussion. The student will use scenarios, case studies, graphics, and role-play to demonstrate the understanding and application of the concepts. Upon completion of this course the student should be able to implement an Incident Command System at small or medium sized EMS related incidents and manage the incident during the initial set-up and operation or until the line supervisor arrives on the scene and assumes command. | ||||||||
