| Description |
The Fire Suppression Rating Schedule is the manual that the Insurance Services Offices (ISO) uses in reviewing the firefighting capabilities of your community. The schedule measures the major elements of a community’s fire protection system and develops a numerical grading called a Public Protection Classification, commonly called your ISO rating. This course will familiarize students with the Fire Suppression Rating Schedule, allow the understanding of major elements used by ISO, prepare to make strategic operational and budgetary decisions on how to improve the Public Protection
Class, and how to develop and implement a plan to improve the Public Protection Class for the community. |
