The Advisory Committee is a group of state government, public, and industry experts in health planning and policy who serve as a "sounding board" for the Division of Health Planning. The non-state government members are volunteers who lend their expertise to our health planning process.
The Advisory Committee was created from a list of specific State elected offices, State departments, and public, business and policy categories. The Advisory Committee members have no legislated role in the approval and adoption of the State Health Plan or of the Certificate of Need standards and criteria.
