Proposed Cardiac Catheterization Standards, Requests Written Comments

On March 3 the Division of Health Planning held a public meeting on the Proposed Certificate of Need Standards and Criteria for Cardiac Catheterization Services.
Those in attendance heard a presentation from the Division of Health Planning on the Proposed Standards and engaged in an interactive discussion with other attendees and the Division.
A wide array of participants attended the meeting, including hospital administrators, cardiologists, nurses, advocates, and officials from the Department of Health and the Health Services and Development Agency.
The Division of Health Planning is still seeking written comments on the Proposed Standards. Please send written comments to Eric Harkness, planning and research coordinator, by email or mail by March 16, 2009.
