Amanda Carter

Amanda Carter attended the University of Tennessee at Martin and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Management with her focus in Soil and Water Conservation. She has worked for the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation since 2004. Before becoming an instructor for the Fleming Training Center, Amanda worked in the Columbia region for the Division of Groundwater Protection for 6 years. Lori Munkeboe

Lori has served as the Director of the Office of Environmental Assistance, Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, and member of Deputy Commissioner Paul Sloan’s senior staff since 2005.  Born in Pasadena, California and moved to Nashville in 1969, she attended Tulane University and used her Geology degree in the oil fields of Texas.  In 1983, she returned to Tennessee and began her career with state government in the Tennessee Department of Transportation.  She transferred to the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation in 1990 and worked in several program areas including hazardous waste management and water pollution    control before focusing her efforts on environmental assistance and pollution  prevention.  Her email address is Lori.Munkeboe@tn.gov.

Shannon Pratt

Shannon Pratt attended MTSU where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science.  She is a Murfreesboro native.  Shannon has been with Fleming Training Center since March 2004 where she started teaching in the water and distribution classes.  Since 2008 she moved into the lead instructor for Fleming’s wastewater treatment, wastewater treatment math, wastewater treatment lab and collection math classes.  She is certified in Cross Connection Control.  Before coming to Fleming Training Center, Shannon spent almost three years working at private environmental labs testing water and wastewater samples.  Her email address is Shannon.Pratt@tn.gov.

Dennis Conger

Dennis Conger graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science. He worked in environmental consulting prior to joining the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation in 2006 where he worked for the Division of Water Pollution Control. In 2011, Dennis began working as an instructor at the Fleming Training Center. His email address is Dennis.Conger@tn.gov.
