The Office of Personnel and Human Resources is responsible for advising the commissioner on personnel policies, and assisting operating divisions in carrying out personnel practices; administering provisions of the Civil Service Act; providing divisions with a pool of qualified applicants for selection for employment; and providing new employee orientation and training.
