Jobs for Tennessee Graduates (JTG)
The Jobs for Tennessee Graduates (JTG) program seeks to promote high school graduation and career preparation for at-risk students. This two-phase program provides career development instruction and preparation for high school seniors, as well as one year of follow-up support services for recent high school graduates from trained JTG specialists.
Tennessee school districts have the option to offer the JTG course as a CTE elective for seniors. The JTG course follows the curriculum of the Jobs for America's Graduates program. This curriculum focuses on the development of student competencies in 37 essential employability skills.
