Division of Accountability, Teaching and Learning

In order to establish statewide standards as a foundation for teaching and learning, the Division of Accountability, Teaching and Learning is charged with the responsibility of providing local school systems with leadership and technical assistance in the design, development, and implementation of instructional programs, grades K-12. Our mission is to serve Tennessee teachers, students, and parents through the provision of curriculum materials, relevant professional growth opportunities, and programs designed to address the needs of at-risk and academically gifted children.
